We prepare apartments for renovation or conversion. We plan the order of work, the removal of materials and the protection of the work area, with the building and neighbours in mind.
An apartment ready for renovation
Renovating an apartment does not always mean stripping every room bare. We agree room by room which finishes and parts will be removed and what will stay. That way, the line between demolition and the next construction works is clear before we start.
Working in an apartment building
To prepare a quote, we need to know the floor, access, whether the lift can be used and the route for removing materials. Let us know about the building’s rules and any restrictions we need to follow. Protection of shared areas and the movement of materials are agreed before the work starts.
Preparing the bathroom and other rooms
If the renovation involves a bathroom or another specific room, describe separately the surfaces to be removed and the parts to be kept. Add photos and approximate measurements. Preparations involving pipes, wiring and connections must be discussed before demolition; they are not automatically part of the demolition work.
Handover to the next trade
At the end of the demolition, it must be clear which surfaces have been exposed and which parts removed. We tidy the agreed work area and stick to the scope agreed in advance. If your renovation contractor has specific requirements for the substrates or the removal work, send them with your enquiry.

Does the apartment need to be empty before the work?
That depends on the extent of the work. Let us know which items will stay in the apartment; we will agree what needs to be moved and which areas need protecting. If needed, we can clear the apartment ourselves.
How do I get an accurate quote?
Describe the rooms, the materials to be removed, approximate measurements, the floor and access. Please also include your preferred start date.
