Removal of an old wooden fence
In Hiiu County, we removed about 670 linear metres of old wooden fence with barbed wire and tidied the area where the fence had stood.
About the job
What was done?
In Hiiu County, we had to remove about 670 linear metres of old, worn-out wooden fence. The fence was made of wooden posts and rails that had turned grey with the weather and had tilted in places, and barbed wire was attached to it. We took the fence apart, lifted the posts out of the ground with a tractor and loaded the rails and posts onto a trailer. We collected the barbed wire from the fence separately. Finally, we tidied the fence line with a strimmer and the tractor, leaving an open mown strip in its place.
